OUTReach Survey, 2005-06

In Fall 2005, OUTreach initiated a survey of GLBT faculty, staff, and students at the UA. The goal of the survey was to learn more about how OUTreach can better serve its members and to provide OUTreach leadership with feedback from members about important issues (like domestic partner benefits). The survey was sent to the OUTreach listserv of about 150 members (at that time) and all were encouraged to complete it and send the survey link on to other GLBT UA individuals they knew. There were no mechanisms to prevent non-UA individuals from completing the survey, but there were mechanisms in place from preventing the same computer from taking the survey twice. While not completely scientific in nature, the results did provide OUTreach with valuable information on issues important to members.
